Back Home ~Simon "Ghost" Riley Imagine~

Summary: Simon is back on leave and spends the day with his kids while you get stuff done.

It was his first day of leave after a six month long mission. Simon sat on the couch as his kids played with their toys in front of him. The TV played as he watched the football match between Manchester City and Liverpool.

"Simon, I need to grab a few things. Would you be okay watching the kids by yourself?" You asked Simon as you walked over to him.

"Yeah. Take a break from the kids love. I got this," Simon told you.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. Go and enjoy some quiet time," Simon said, getting up to give you a kiss.

"Ew. Kissing is gross," your son said as he looked up at you both.

"Ew," your daughter repeated with a smile.

"Okay. I'm off. You two behave for daddy," you tell your two kids.

"Bye mommy."

"Mommy," your daughter stretched her arms out to reach for you. Simon picked her up instead before kissing her head.

"See you in a bit," you tell them before heading out.

"Daddy, can I watch Bluey?" Your son, Tommy, asked him.

"Sure. Let's put it on."

"Daddy," your daughter, Lila, said as she touched Simon's face.

"Yes, love?"

"Bluey!" Lila said excitedly.

"I'll put it on for you darling. Give me a moment," Simon told her as he switched the TV over to Disney+.

Tommy sat on the couch quietly as he watched the show. Lila stumbled around the living room to grab a toy to show Simon.

"Dad?"

"Yes, Tommy?"

"Why do you always leave for a long time and come back for a short time?" Tommy asked him.

"It's my job."

"But why can't you stay with us?" Tommy asked him.

"Because, I need to clean up some stuff before I can officially stay home with you, Lila, and mommy."

"Mommy gets sad sometimes when you're gone. I can hear her cry at night sometimes," Tommy told him.

Simon could feel his heart break a little. You knew what you were getting into when Simon told you everything. From his past to now. When he trusted you enough, he wasn't afraid to be with you.

"Then I should probably make it up to her then huh?" Simon asked him.

"Yeah. You can take out to a fancy dinner! I can help you!" Tommy said.

Before Simon could answer him, Lila let out a scream. Simon quickly turned his head towards her to see her on the floor next to the wall.

"Did you hurt yourself, love?" Simon asked as he rushed over to pick her up. Lila cried out as she held onto Simon.

"I got you. It's okay," Simon assured her as he kissed her head.

"Dad, can I help you make a fancy dinner for mom?" Tommy asked.

"Okay. Come on," Simon said as the three of them headed to the kitchen.

Once you got home, you notice it was a little too quiet. You put your purse on the table by the front door before walking over to find your family.

"Simon? Tommy? Lila?" You called out.

You turned the corner to see Tommy standing in front of you with a smile.

"Do you have a reservation with us?" Tommy asked.

"I believe I do," you smiled, going along with the game. "I'm meeting my husband."

"I see. Please follow me."

You let out a small laugh as you followed your son to the dining room table. You smiled as you saw dinner set up and Simon sitting at the table with Lila next to him in her high chair.

"Please enjoy your dinner," Tommy said.

"Aren't you going to join us?" You asked. Tommy motioned you to bend down to his height. You squatted down so he could tell you.

"I need to sneak back in," Tommy whispered to you.

"Oh I see. Okay," you smile with a nod.

You sat down in your chair as Simon smiled over at you.

"Tommy came up with this idea of a fancy dinner," Simon told you.

"Glad to see that the cooking classes we've been going together was put to good use," you joked.

"Remember I couldn't even cook when we first got together?"

"I remember. This is a big step up."

"Wanted to let you have this moment," Simon tells you.

"Thank you for waiting for me," Tommy said as he sat next to you.

"Thank you for joining us," you tell him.

After dinner, Simon cleaned up the table and the dishes while you tucked Tommy and Lila to bed. You headed back downstairs to Simon before hugging him from behind.

"I love you," you tell him.

"I love you too. I'm sorry I'm not here all the time. Probably a shit of a dad to the kids."

"No you're not," you tell him, moving over so he could see you. "The kids and I love you. They'll understand on why you had to leave for a long time when they get older."

"Tommy told me that you cry sometimes when I'm not here," Simon told you.

"It's hard sometimes. Do I wish you retire? Yes. But do I know why you can't right now? Yes. We'll be okay," you smile at him.

"I'll talk to Price on getting to leave soon," Simon told you.

"You sure?"

"I'm sure. I should be home with you and the kids more."

"As long as you're okay with it," you tell him before giving him a quick kiss.

"Have you thought about having another kid?" Simon asked you.

"Why do you ask?" You smirked.

"I was thinking we can get started on making baby number three?" Simon suggested.

"Finish the dishes and maybe you'll find a surprise in the bedroom."

"Or I can just take you now," Simon said before rinsing his hands and wiping his hands on the towel. He quickly picked you up before heading upstairs.

"Simon!"

"Better be quiet love. Gonna wake up the kids," Simon smiled before kissing you.

"Mm, do you have ways on making me quiet?"

"Of course I do," Simon smiled before closing and locking the bedroom door behind him.

April's drawings and doodles!! Get ready! 🎉🌟

At first, I was gonna draw ARG tangled in some rope, but then the rope looked like a ribbon, so I made Gangle into a monster instead. Also, I drew two of the most underated cats from Warriors ever, especially Lionheart.

(I started this first but finished it second). Drawings of certain characters cause their birthdays this month, except for Colin his birthday is at the end of March. I just forgot to draw him. I just love how Cody, Popee, and Waluigi share the same birthday, tho. 🎉

I was writing a story with these six, inspired by The New Prophecy. But I haven't written it in some time. Idk if I'll ever continue it. I don't think I'll post it anywhere, either. Probably.

The next two drawings I started a month or so ago but didn't finish until this month.

Took quite a while to finish, but I'm glad I did. Idk where this takes place yet, but it is a scene from that crossover I keep thinking about but never really writing down.

Either takes place before or after the drawing above it, I don't really remember. What I do know, tho is that I drew these drawings because idk I just felt like Adam would have interesting interactions with some other characters.

I rushed this at the end. I did not want to leave it out. I want a clean slate next month. God damn it. I love crossovers, how bout you?

Characters who die in canon that end up in the place (idk what to call it) keep being in the clothing that they died in. (Rip Ram and Kurt from Heathers: the Musical). (Spoilers warning if needed) So Adam is stuck with his robe he wore during the war with Charlie and the others from the hotel.

Also, about the 3rd drawing, like I said, it's an idea I had that, yes, takes place in the same crossover thing I think about. The colors in the background of each kiddo are involved in it, too.

The first two drawings are pretty much just some random doodles (idk what to do with the one with ARG and monster Gangle) while the other three kinda have stories to them that may or may not be written or animated on someday. (God, I hope that last sentence made sense).

Oh, and Bluey, Bingo and their cousins got to visit the Cul-De-Sac cause of a reason that's also in the multifandom/crossover I think about, I don't know if I should explain it or not. Meh.

BTW I've tried to match the original art styles of everything before, but this time, I've taken some steps forward. The hardest thing to figure out is the claynimated ones like Orel, Clay, and Claire. But I managed (for now, probably).

Edit: i went back and fixed it, I feel so much better about it now.

I even tried to have it seem like Bluey and others are slowly transitioning to the EEnE art style a bit.

A bluey fanart!!! i think one of my favorite episodes of Bluey is space! IT was the first episode of Bluey that i watched and i remember how hard it hit me in a personal level

Since i was a kid i struggled with anxiety and most of the time i liked playing alone or make this games where i was the outcast; It was unbeliveble how i resonate with mackenzie in this episodes and others like "mums and dads".

february - scenemo bingo and goth punk bluey fanart because i was awesome. i actually had my birthday (which was also that month) goth bluey themed. i think the art itself is kind of mid now especially bingo but the concept is awesome and more people should see my vision

march - i had no full art pieces :((((( so this is a jarthur doodle where they hold hands after arthur did something DIFFICULT!! i think its pretty cute. but it is just a doodle. sigh.

april - ASH WILLIAMS ?!?!?!?!?i think this is pretty cool tho the colours r kind of muted im a fan of the blood and the grey streak ... <3

may - self portrait of me for the malevolent zine 'this too shall pass'. im actually pretty happy with it, its so cute!

june - floorshow brad majors fanart. i was sooo gay. i am gay. im proud of it except for the face and background to be honest. i still get notes on it today and its really funny cuz its just other people being gay. happy with it

july - OLD MAN ASH WILLIAMS ?!?!?!?!?!? i remember i was watching ash vs evil dead and felt a little bit too homosexual and needed to get it out of my system. keep in mind this was still before i was insane about evil dead. i frankly think the body and the background suck ass and this drawing is BAD👎

august - laura palmer painting number 1. really quite happy with this. i like her a lot. just not so happy with the background, i think i couldve done it better. (i was trying to make it so that you could see the waiting room peeking out from cracks in the wall but that wasnt obvious and was just kind of stupid so like whateverrrr).

september - laura palmer painting number 2. i actually prefer this one, i put more work into it than the first one? it might not look as good but i was more independent with the colour picking and was doing a lot more of the reference from eye. i also think it looks prettier and i like how the hair turned out :))

october - this was a busy month for me so this is just a cringetober piece. self insert. me as an s-mart employee. UM.anyway.s. i think its cute but definitely my weakest piece on here apart from maybe the bluey art. woah wait i just realised i appear twice on this thing

november - dale cooper painting!!! im really happy with this i think it turned out really nice and pretty and that i captured how angelic he looks in that scene :)) im especially proud of the eyes.
